I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming bout.

Former two time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
